    Beth was born in Fairmont Minnesota and moved to Rochester when she was ten years old.  From the time she was a little girl Beth dreamed of working in an office and would make her sister play hours of pretend “office” trying out many different careers.  Beth graduated from John Marshall High School and then attended Rochester Community and Technical College.  While attending school Beth worked at TGI Friday’s as a waitress/bartender eventually working for the corporate office as a new store opener.  This is where Beth really flourished and learned to become extremely organized, motivated, and a super hard worker!  She traveled across the United States and even to Portugal to open TGI Friday’s restaurants.  Working as a new store opener required Beth to be gone for months at a time and included eighty hour work weeks!  After a couple of years, Beth moved to St Paul and continued working for TGI Friday’s.  Between new store openings Beth split her time between bartending at the Roseville TGI Friday’s and developing new training tools for the company.  In 2000, Beth decided to move back to Rochester and work with her dad, Tim Schomburg, at RE/MAX learning the real estate business.  After three years she was hooked and found her passion helping people buy and sell their homes.  During this time she met her future husband Jason and married in 2003.  After working with Tim and learning the business, Beth went on her own continuing to work at RE/MAX.   The customer service skills Beth acquired in the restaurant business seamlessly transferred to her real Estate business and are a benefit to all her clients.  She is great at listening and even better at asking questions, both of which help her to better understand the needs and wants of her clients.  Beth is extremely dedicated to her clients and will go above and beyond to make sure that they have the best home buying and selling experience possible.  If you are not happy, she is not happy!

    Arden Sollien has been a Rochester resident for over forty years, so he is very familiar with Rochester and the surrounding area. Having been a teacher in Rochester schools for many years, he is particularly knowledgeable about educational institutions in the area.
     
    Arden has been a Realtor for over thirty years, sixteen of those years at Re/Max of Rochester. A long-time member of the 100% Club, he is also in the Re/Max Hall of Fame.
     
    His many repeat customers and active referral system in the community are testimony to his professionalism and dedication to his buyers and sellers. Though those are the major source of his business, he enjoys working with a variety of new customers looking to buy a home or build a new one.
     
    His contacts with builders, suppliers, home inspectors, mortgage loan officers, bankers, title companies, and attorneys provide his customers with a wealth of resources to expedite and ease the home selling and buying process.
     
    He and Beth Nordaune have formed a compatible team after collaborating for years and establishing a mutual sense of professionalism and sincere concern for the welfare of their customers.

    Jason was born and raised in Benson Minnesota; an itty bitty town located in west-central MN.  As a child Jason found joy in golf, drawing, fishing with his Grandpa and playing tuba in the band.  After high school, Jason decided it was time to head for the big city and went to college at St Johns University.  While at St. John’s, Jason expanded his horizons even further by spending a semester abroad studying in Greece and Italy.  When Jason was not busy studying he supplemented his income working at Gary’s Pizza as a Pizza Transportation Specialist.  Jason graduated in 1998 with a bachelor in Studio Art.  After college Jason moved to Minneapolis where he got a job working as a graphic designer at Drew Pearson.  While Jason was living in Minneapolis one of Beth’s co-workers had the “perfect” blind date for her and set her up with Jason’s best friend.  On this date Jason met Beth and their lives have never been the same.  They fell in love and got married in Rochester in 2003.  Jason moved to Rochester after the wedding and continued to commute to Minneapolis to work at Drew Pearson.  After two years of marital bliss they had their first daughter; Ava Nordaune.  It did not take long for the lack of sleep to make Jason realize that the commute was too much and he found a job at a marketing company in Rochester.  He continued his career in graphic design until joining Beth in the real estate business in 2006.  Just as he was getting settled into a new career and beginning to get back to some regular sleep Beth and Jason had their second daughter Laurel Nordaune.  In 2007, Jason extended his knowledge and got his real estate license.  Jason now spends his time working as the Director of Marketing continually wowing us with the new ideas he comes up with.  He spends countless hours on the internet finding the newest and best way to advertise for Beth’s clients.  He creates wonderful print ads and beautiful eye-catching brochures to help homes sell fast.  Keep an eye out for what he will come up with next!

  • Jill Becker

    Jill grew up in Rochester and as a child she loved any sport that required flipping and spinning.  She also had a passion for reading and was constantly amazing everyone with how many books she would read!  After graduating from John Marshall High school, Jill went to Rochester Community and Technical College while working as a waitress at TGI Friday’s.  However, shortly after her 21st birthday she decided that she needed a change in her life and was tired of winter so she moved to sunny Arizona.  Jill got a job bartending and continued her education in Arizona where she did not have to trudge to class in snow and graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor degree in Interdisciplinary Studies.  Don’t ask her what that means because not even she can explain it to you!  After graduation, Jill worked as a real estate appraiser in the Phoenix metro area for a little over a year.   In the meantime, Jill married the man of her dreams in 2006.  After the honeymoon, she got a job at JP Morgan Chase and worked as a loan closer/underwriter for home equity loans and lines of credit.  Success came easy to Jill as a loan closer and she consistently found herself in the top five at JP Morgan Chase all while handling a pipeline of over sixty different files a week!  Hard to believe, but perfect weather gets tiring and she missed her family terribly so she convinced her husband to move to Minnesota!  Jill moved back to Minnesota in August of 2008 and began working for Beth.  Jill is the client care coordinator and works hard setting and confirming appointments, managing files and keeping all parties informed in their home buying and selling process.  Jill is our behind the scenes gal that keeps everyone organized and on task!

  • Esther Claassen

    While everyone else on the team was born and raised in Minnesota, Esther was born in Texas and raised in Georgia.  Somehow her father convinced her to leave the mild climate of the South and attend Wheaton College outside of Chicago and she loved it!  Esther graduated with a degree in business and immediately after accepting her diploma and walking off the graduation stage she told all of her friends she was moving back to Georgia and "I am never moving back to the cold".  While living in Georgia, Esther was very involved in fundraising for the United Way and she also was the business manager and event planner for Student Activities at the Medical College of Georgia.  It was in the early months after her move back to Georgia that Esther met her future husband Daniel.  They were married in 2004 and their sense of adventure moved them to live in Africa for three months.  Shortly after, Daniel had Esther eating those words "I am never moving back to the cold" and moved them to Rochester in May 2005 to complete his neurology residency.  Esther always had an interest in real estate growing up but never pursued this career path until she moved to Rochester.  Even though she was new to town and didn't know a soul, Esther quickly made connections around the community and has helped numerous clients find their first home or their dream home. Having relocated to Rochester herself, she knows exactly what it is like moving from a different part of the country. Additionally, being married to a Mayo Clinic resident has allowed her to both welcome and relate to the many newcomers that move to Rochester to work in the medical field.  Esther and Daniel welcomed their first baby, Stewart Daniel in the summer of 2008.  When Esther is not busy with the new baby she enjoys cooking and playing tennis.
